题主的问题在于试图在英语单词和汉语词汇中建立一种一一对应的关系，但是这个关系实际上是不存在的。大家每个词汇的语义并非对应关系，实际上语义是n对n的交叉的关系。
给题主的建议。平时尝试使用英语去思考，不要尝试先翻译成汉语，这样语义理解上肯定会有损耗。

就英文来说，远没有中文或者法文那么复杂细腻，很多词语必须放到语境里去理解，所以你拿个英文单词来备注温柔与脆弱是不合理的。
就中文里，我们常态说的温柔和脆弱也往往是完全无关的！
相反，温柔的人往往很坚强，有一颗坚强的内心的人，才能待人温柔。
